El sábado 30 de Noviembre 2013 era el fin de gira de los increíbles Pink Tones en Madrid, en su sala Joy Eslava con muchísimo público para ver en vivo y en directo a esta genial banda de homenaje a Pink Floyd de la que cada vez que les veo, me confirman que lo hacen mejor que Roger Waters, aunque no lleven el espectáculo bestial del Muro. Ambientazo en los 3 pisos de la sala y puntualmente, a las 20:00h comenzó un conciertazo inolvidable. Mucho humo, luz azulada muy tenue, dándole un aspecto muy misterioso al amplio escenario de la Joy Eslava más la aparición de Tony Fernández, el batería que fue el primero en aparecer dando un golpe a un “gong” que fue el pistoletazo de salida para que junto a sus compañeros, Álvaro Espinosa (voces), Pipo Rodríguez (saxo, guitarra, voces), Cefe Fernández al bajo y voz, comenzara el show contando con las increíbles Ángeles Fernández y Cris López como maravillosas acompañantes en los coros y en las partes vocales femeninas. Ya se empezaron a escuchar entusiasmados aplausos del público mientras por los altavoces salían sonidos en plan hindú de flautas para arrancar con “Sysyphus”. En esta gira, PINK TONES  con lo que la primera parte del espectáculo está más dedicada al tema de la gira en sí para luego continuar alcanzando el final como suele ser habitual en ellos con la parte digamos más conocida de “The Wall” y los bises que ya contaremos. Continuaron muy suavemente con “Time – Celestial Voices”, con Álvaro comenzando a lucirse con el slide aunque tanto humo en el escenario y unas pálidas luces violáceas no dejaban ver muy claramente su gran técnica para pasar a más humo aún si cabe en “Dogs”, perfectamente interpretada y continuando con ese silencio de la banda, con esa elegancia al ir desarrollando los temas impregnando de magia toda la Joy Eslava donde no se oía nada, teniendo a todos disfrutando y mucho del espectáculo. Este se incrementó de repente al hacer aparición por primera vez el láser que tanto utilizan para darle amenidad visual para terminar con Cefe saludando al público con un agradecido Buenas Noches Madrid – encantados de volver aquí. Estas palabras fueron la introducción de uno de los temas que no es que lo borden, es que de verdad, en serio, lo afirmo una y otra vez, le dan un toque increíble igualando totalmente al original “Shine On You Crazy Diamond”, con las geniales coristas en la parte de atrás con ese movimiento entre elegante y sensual haciendo señas de que algo no iba bien, escuchándoselas demasiado en lejanía aunque Ángeles Cervantes hizo de las suyas deleitándonos los oídos pero por demasiado poco tiempo, ya tendría luego mejor sonido y más protagonismo. Después de tanta intensidad, se necesitaba un poco de caña y Pink Tones supieron meter adecuadamente “On The Turning Away”, más animado con Álvaro con guitarra acústica y dando más protagonismo a Tony en los teclados sacando sonidos de órgano que taparon a las chicas con los coros aunque desde la mesa ya estaban arreglando esta pequeña incidencia como luego comprobamos. Después de un ahumado por el espesor  “Atom Heart Mother”, vino mi tema favorito de los Floyd, el increíble “Have a Cigar”, con esos cambios de ritmos de guitarra tan bruscos y Álvaro sacando de sí el mismo tono que el vocalista británico – es de aplaudir a toda la banda hasta rabiar pero me maravilla cada vez más cómo “Súper Álvaro” (como le llamaban desde el público) puede captar la esencia total de la voz de Waters y mira que es difícil por la variedad de registros del original aunque tuvieron una forma un poco brusca y seca de terminar el tema o al menos es la impresión que a mí me dio. Estábamos más o menos en la primera hora del show que se había pasado sin enterarnos cuando nos metimos en una sucesión de temazos como su famoso “The Great Gig In The Sky”, con sus compañeros en los estribillos con él  y esas pedazo de voces que son Ángeles y Cris, dejándonos totalmente con la boca abierta – es una auténtica pasada o mejor, lo siguiente. Bravo y bravo se oía por toda la Joy porque nos habían dejado flipadísimos todos, la banda y ellas. Son muchísimo mejores de las que llevan por ejemplo “The Australian Pink Floyd Show”, vamos… por Dios.   Después de tanto subidón, subidón vendría otro peldaño, sin piedad arrancaron con los sonidos de la caja registradora esa antigua del “Money”, con una voz rota para luego cambiar a limpia de Álvaro y dejando a Pipo que cogiera el saxo para lucirse. Es increíble lo completos que son como músicos, no limitándose a un instrumento sino que van dejando que disfrutemos del Theremín (casi en desuso siendo uno de los primeros instrumentos electrónicos que existieron) del ya mencionado saxo, de panderetas, un máster en Música todos. Con este tema, “Money” extendido con una base rítmica sólida y fuerte que iba in crescendo más y más y todos moviéndonos sin pensar, tan sólo disfrutando de la noche. A continuación y para delicia de todos, “Any Colour You Like” dando protagonismo a la voz de Cefe que se llevó unos merecidísimos aplausos por su gran clase y elegancia, es todo tranquilidad derrochando mucha calma y paz – supieron darnos como acelerones en el transcurso del concierto para luego pasar a temas más pausados porque en tres horas de show tampoco es que estés todo el rato de sofoco, todo a su tiempo por lo que Pink Tones pasaron a la parte más pausada del show con “High Hopes” o “Summer 68” para otra vez dejarnos flipados con la aparición de un rayo láser precioso, en tonos rosados (Pink…) para luego oírse gracias a Álvaro esos sonido de “pin”…. “pin”…., decorando espectacularmente nada menos que “Wish You Were Here” y “Echoes” que lo bordan, tan simple como eso, de diez con su larga parte instrumental que nos dejó todo locos aunque vuelvo a repetir aunque sea muy pesada, que el humo difuminó en exceso poder ver a estos musicazos haciendo de las suyas porque es un espectáculo cada uno de ellos dejando después a Álvaro con la ténue luz encima para ya introducir la última fase del show – llevábamos ya unas dos horas y veinte – donde se explayan con lo más conocido del “The Wall”. Ya en plena recta final, fue cuando escuchamos un acople, cosa extrañísima en los conciertos de esta sensacional banda haciéndoles reales, demostrando que lo que están viendo y oyendo es de verdad ya que es tan perfecto que te hacen dudarlo. Con Pipo como protagonista primeramente, el terrorífico muñeco hinchable (no penséis mal) del profesor malvado de la peli de “The Wall” se levantó hasta casi el techo de la Joy mientras sonaban esos temas tan legendarios mientras Ángeles y Cris acompañaban con fuerte ritmo militar a sus compañeros para ponernos a todos a cantar espontáneamente lo del “We don’t need no education” y el resto de estrofas de las partes II y III del “Another Brick in the Wall” y cómo no, “The Happiest Days of Our Lives” en un espectáculo increíble que se me hizo más corto que en otras ocasiones para dejar sólo a Cefe – en semi oscuridad – para interpretar un sentido e intenso “Goodbye Cruel World” cuando llegamos a las 02:45h de súper show. La Joy reventaba con muchísimos más que merecidos aplausos pero quedaba ya los bises con su épica y maravillosa interpretación del angustioso y trepidante “Run Like Hell” con todos en los coros, “Run, Run, Run”…, qué mezcla de voces, sonaba increíble para ya su total “Confortably Numb”, ya sin humo, con la bola setentera de discoteca bajando del techo y lanzando miles de reflejos por la entregadísima sala formando un espectáculo impresionante de sonido, de luz y un acto de unión con el público disfrutando como hacía mucho. La banda más que agradecida se hizo la obligatoria foto con todos y la verdad es que estaban visiblemente emocionados al recibir una ovación que duró varios minutos y que se merecían incluso mucho más y comentando casi sin poder hablar por la emoción del momento que Madrid, como siempre, increíble – dejando a Tony, el teclista – al que nunca veis bien pero por lo menos se me oye (comentó en plan jocoso) hacer de maestro de ceremonias final presentando él a la banda, cantándole el cumpleaños feliz a su atento roadie y a Gabi Bergareche (técnico sonido) y dándose la vuelta cuando le tocó su turno apareciendo en su camiseta – “Pink Tony” – cerrando a las 23:10h un conciertazo de 9 – el 10 no se lo pongo por tanto humo. No es broma, porque Roger Waters tiene mucha pasta y puede llevar un espectáculo que te deja flipado pero podía ir de telonero abriendo para PINK TONES, los madrileños le dan mil vueltas y no os quiero contar como dejan a la banda oficial tributo, a los Australian Pink Floyd Show, a la altura del betún. Agresiva nos pasa las últimas noticias con respecto a esta gran banda, aquí os las contamos. Han  subido un tercer corte de su maxisingle Chronophobia a su canal oficial de YouTube. Se trata de “Electric Fence”, tema que formó originalmente parte de su demo de 2010 “Sent To War” y que grabaron como agradecimiento a sus seguidores que llevaban solicitando que lo hiciésemos desde 2012,  pero con un sonido y una producción que realmente le hace justicia.
